Just Curious: Band OR DJ

Well ladies...thoughts?

We had an A-mazing band that our guests continue to rave about & our dancefloor was packed from the first dance on...literally!

Nice! I've never been to a wedding with a band but I am using Vision. So excited I love them.

Who did you use?

We used The Cunningham Brothers - they're really big in Westchester county where my fiance grew up! His brother and sister used them for their weddings so we knew right off the bat we were going to use them too!

I have this weird thing where I really hate hearing someone else sing the song other than the person who originally recorded it. So because I have issues, we are having a DJ

Were doing both...well kinda. We have the DJ, but the company also has a vocalist, drummer and sax payer so it also has that real instrument feel to it. PLUS, My FH is in a band and we plan to hide their equipment and have them play a few of their songs!

Dj I also do not like hearing songs covered by someone else. Plus I'm could not afford to pay and feed a band.

Just went to DHs cousins wedding and they had a pretty well known band. Have to say though that I have so much more fun at weddings with a DJ. Like hearing the original artist so much better. JMO
