Im 25. She was there for years before me. The year I had her was her last year so we through the parents threw her a retirement party. After that whole year of yelling, she cried at the party. Weird.
What about you?

I used to live in Brooklyn, does that count?
I spent several years renting an apartment on the border of Park Slope and Windsor Terrace-just south of Prospect Park. We loved it there. Shopping on 7th Ave, Johnny Macks for beer and pool, Laura's delivered a great thin crust pizza, Elora's for sangria and the best orange pork and of course, the park!
Once a Brooklyn girl, always a Brooklyn girl

i dont remember my 2nd grade teachers name but she was a lesbian ( i found out later of course). Short black hair, sort of chubby.
I dont remember many of the kids names in the class but there was a girl named Barbara Pitta that I remember because her family owned a funeral home nearby. Was she in your class?

You are a year younger than I am, and I know Barabara Ann. Her mom still works in the school, and your teacher was Miss Cardiullo. Yes, she was definately a lesbian!!!

Re: Just Curious, does anyone else live in Brooklyn?
OMG this is too weird! So many of us are practically neighbors!
I didn't go to IHM, I went to St. Agnes Seminary, but I used to go to IHM's fair, the one with the giant blow-up room where you could bounce around inside. I don't know if you guys are too young to know it, but it was held in IHM's parking lot. I was about 4-5-6 years old when we would go and I loved it!
Does anyone bring their dog to the dog run in Prospect Park? Sonic - when I was born we lived on 10th Avenue, off Windsor Place.

We lived on Seeley Street, right down from Bishop Ford. We moved in 89, but my sister went to Bishop Kearney. Yes, I remember all of those bazaars. I don't think they have them anymore?
