I voted 'no' but that doesn't mean I'm against pre-nups all together. As far as winning money would go, that would be something we accumulated together. I considered asking Fh to sign one because of my father's business. What my father has built up for his family should stay with the family. God forbid we got divorced, FH could take some of that money and he shouldn't be entitled to it. What would happen down the line if he remarried? The money my dad worked his whole life for could go to paying for his kids, with another women, college education. My parents will make provisions in their will to keep the money within the family. I don't believe a pre-nup, or even thinking like this, is any kind of jinx towards my marriage. I have perfect faith that we'll live happily ever after, but I'm not a fortune teller and there are no guarantees in life.

I asked him last night what would be the first thing he would do if he won and he said 'call your mother and tell her she doesn't have to pay for the wedding'.

I am the only yes - but i am making FH signed a prenup anyway - but i am cynical becuase i am in law school and my parents money they have to get passed to once it gets passed to me
