just curious -- is it possible for florists to 'book up' ?
Do florists 'book up' after a set number of people? Or do they manage to squeeze in another party or 2 or 10?
I'm sure at some point they would need to start turning people away, but I've never really heard of anyone saying they went to see a florist and they were booked on their date.

They can book up. My florist only does one wedding a day so she definately gets booked.

I have. A friend of mine just went to a florist for her October wedding and they said they had 3 weddings the same day and time and would not be able to get her everything in time.

They can book up after a set amount of events.
It just so happens that for Flower Michele I am the only thing going on the day of my wedding... I guess I am lucky - they sometimes get only two things per day if I recall correctly.

I know my florist did more than 1 wedding a day, but most of the time I think they were different times of the day.
They only have so many delivery people and delivery vans/trucks, so unless they're going to incur the cost of hiring extra people & renting vans .... I definitely think it is possible.
Also, I think taking on a high number of jobs per day will affect the quality of their work ... it just *has* to, doesn't it?

They can book up. I'm happy my florist is right across the street from my RH!

my florist only does one wedding a day as well so she definitely books up. In fact, someone inquired about my date before I booked with her and she gave me a courtesy call since I had met with her first.

Some florists do... it all depends on the place. Some only will do one wedding a day, while others are more like large factories that crank out the floral arrangements. I was told by one place that if I didn't book with them really soon, they might not have room for me, but I don't like being rushed into decisions and ended up not even going with them.
