Does anyone have baby fever like I do, or is it just me? I can't help it. Caiden is 14.5 months old already. He's such a big boy now! I was just wondering if there are any other moms who have a baby that can't wait to TTC#2. Thanks!

Being a full time working mom (and one that works from home most days) I know that now is not a good time for us to have another baby. In addition pregnancy and I don't go very well together so I have a lot of medical considerations to take into account before I make this decision. Molly is only in daycare 3x a week now. If I have another baby that means I cannot take care of her while working from home the other 2x a week so her daycare would increase to 5 days week AND the new baby would be in 2x a week (like Molly was at 14 weeks)...my daycare bill would be $1500+ a month, not to mention my stress level would increase a ton trying to get 2 babies to 2 different daycares (Molly's is not for newborns..she recently changed to a new one) I also think for now I want to really enjoy my time with Molly. But my turning 35 is starting to say to me that I need to figure this out sooner rather than later.

Rob and I are going to start trying in May. It is going be a rough managing two young children, but if we don't do it now we're never going to. I don't think it's fair for Andrew to be an only child. I have a big family (4 brothers) and it's the best thing in the world. I know we will always have each other no matter what happens. I love my sibilings dearly and vice versa I wouldn't want to deny that to my son. Godforbid sometime were to happen to my parents I would be ok b'c of my brothers.

I definitely do..my daughter isn't even 4 months old yet and I can't even wait to have another one.....I'm also 37 so that kinda plays a part in it. But I will wait and give my little girl a chance to be the baby!!!

DH is already talking about #2 and this one is not here yet!
I will need some time to convince myself that I cna put my body through pregnancy again. It has not been a fun ride!

I don't think a parent is being unfair when they don't have 2nd child...it is a pretty personal decision and often has a lot behind it. What has been hard for me is that people judge when I am honest about probably not having another child.

Managing 2 children is very tough. I don't blame people when they decide to have only 1, unless you have 2 very well behaved children, it is quite a rollercoster.

That's exactly how I feel! How could I deny my own child a kind of special relationship that i share with my sister! We are definitely going for #2... eventually!
