Just did my tips.. maybe this will help you guys..

Ok so I just separated my tips up

I budgeted around 1k

Maitre D- 350
Duet 1 -100
Duet 2- 100
Duet Vid-100
DJ-50
MC- 100
Bridal atten- 100 (too much?)
DOC- 50 or more depending
Florist delivery-20

Does this sound right? Duet people will be with us 12 hours that day.

I think 100 for the bridal attendant is too much....JMO otherwise sounds good. Although why are you giving the DJ and MC different amounts?

In no way is 100 dollars too much, I think that is the bare minimum you should give to the bridal attendant....you list looks perfect, don't change a thing

Sounds good. We just did ours yesterday and came up with about the same. Are you having your ceremony at a church? Don't forget about the altar servers!

I'd go up a little on the maitre d. Maybe take it from the photog. if you don't want to spend more.

We gave ours $150 - she was awesome and worth it!!!

Mine was similar to yours except I gave each limo driver $50 and $500 to maitreD

Sorry Still disagree. I dont care what the bridal assistant does she is not worth any mroe that 100 max. otherwise I dont want one... These poeple make more that I do in tips and I have a masters in Engineering...the line has to be drawn somewhere...otherwise I think your list is fine. There have been many threads on this board about tips and a not everyone spends thousands of dollars on tips. Do a search and see. I have some saved it you want more info FM me. Do what you are comfortable with.

thanks for the opinions.

As far as the maitre d .. we gave 300 already which 75 goes to the actual maitre d and we are only haveing 150 guests so 350 is like 260 a person.

Yea..... the 300 is split between 3 people as per nick he said people do 1.50 to 3 on top of that per person

Oh and BTW..

my limo grat's are included, so I may toss them an extra twenty or so but thats that ... Im paying soooo much already for limos.

As far as hair and makeup.. Im going to the salon for hair so I didnt count that because Ill prob only give like 15 or 20 and same for makeup

I didn't seal my envelopes, with the possibility of adding more. I actually took from one and gave to another. Long story.
