We went in to the city anf took a bunch of pics in Times Square and some on the roof of a friends building near times square.... I felt like a model! I think even FH had fun!
The only thing that Im not happy about is that my photographer told me that we will not be getting a CD with all of our ics - not even for the wedding =( I thought they always did that? So i wont be able to post any online.

Yes I asked and he gave me a whole speech about being an artist nd not wanting to see his pics developed at cvs and blah blah blah.... i dont understand - if i pay for my pics i should get tem - right? ive never heard of this before...

Congrats on taking the pics.
For my epics, I got them in hard copy and didn't want to wait for the cd, so I scanned them into my computer. I can't believe he wouldn't give you a cd even if you wanted - you can always go and get them scanned and then put them on a cd. It's more work for you but at least you can get it on a cd yourself.

I got my e-pics without a cd too. I scanned them (again here at work shhh dont tell) and were able to make copies for family

It sounds like you don't get the rights to your pics I just looked at who your photog is, and actually I've heard of other girls who've had this complaint in the past. I believe it's one of their policies.
Personally, if you could, I might still look for a new photog, because there's no way I'm paying that much for pics and not having the rights to them.

ita! that speech sounds like a load of bull$hit, they are just trying to get you to buy all the pics through them.....i would definitely call and complain about this or start looking, why should you pay $20 for a 5x7 if you want it??? (just guessing at how much that would cost) - jmo

sorry to hear your stressing about it even before the wedding!
i'd suggest talking to the photographer again, maybe you could reach an agreement where both sides would be happy.
a lot of photographers nowadays give digital copies in cd with copyright release but sad to say, there are still a few out there that wants to get more money from their customers. *tsk*tsk* don't be surprised if they go out of business a few years from now.
