Just emailed another MUA...

keep your fingers crossed that this one will be willing to travel to the Bronx the day of the wedding! This appears to be my biggest downfall when it comes to the MUA!

Fingers crossed!!! but grrr, that is annoying!!! i kinda agree though, if you are paying they should be willing to travel.

Most of them require travel fees. Try Sandra Baldini- she seemed pretty willing to travel.

that's what I'm saying. I've contacted about 3 MUA's that wouldn't travel because they don't 'know the area' (umm that's why they made Mapquest and GPS) and one that was not available for my date.

I actually really hope I get this one though because she just did my friend's wedding this past weekend and her makeup was FLAWLESS all night long and she looked amazing - as did all of her girls who got their makeup done as well. My friend told me she was extremely sweet the whole time with trials and the day of and she was very patient and knew what she was doing.

I already told the 3 that said no that I would obviously pay for their travel expenses (gas and tolls) but then they either said they can't do or just never got back to me (which I took as a 'no')
