I just got engaged this past Friday and immediately logged onto LI weddings for ideas(Although I promised my future Hubby that I would wait the few weeks until after the holidays to start looking to plan!!). I already feel like I have so much information from your other posts :). We're looking to get married at a church in Hauppauge, anyone have any good recommendations for a RH in that area? Thanks ladies!

Hi,
If you are looking for a hotel ballroom style reception - look into the Sheraton in Smithtown or Marriott in Islandia.
If you are looking for catering halls, Larkfield Manor in East Northport is not too far away. There is also the Watermill in Smithtown.
Those are a few places in the immediate area that come to mind.
