Just for fun...

What would you do if someone offered to pay for your entire wedding but you'd have to wait 5 years to get married? Would you want to put your wedding off?
I'd say no way. I'm too excited to wait that long.

If I was offered this when I got engaged I would have said yes... barring any stipulations on the amount of what is being paid for... I've waited over 3 years for my wedding anyway! I would have waited 2 more for a more elaborate free wedding!!!

eta: It makes it easier since my FH and I all ready live together as though we are married anyway! We're just awaiting the official document and huge party, nothing else will change between us.

i think i would wait and take the free wedding...BUT i would still save as if we were paying for it ourselves and have a nice down payment for a house when we get married

No way. FH and I have been together for 9 years. I actually wanted to get married in '09, but that wasn't feasible for us. There is no way I would want to wait a total of 14 years for us before we got married!
