Just found out

That my mom probably isn't coming to the wedding...
yes I understand since she lives 1/2 way across the US but still disappointing. She is doing a lot of helping though on her end and for that I thank her.

It will be very strange not to have her there though.

That stinks. I am really sorry about that. Except for my immediate family, my family lives on the other side of the country. I can definitely relate to the long trips. However, she is your mom. Maybe you could help her with the cost of the trip or have a small ceremony near her so that she is included.

Aww thats sad! I hope she can somehow end up coming though.

Are you really close to her? Regardless I feel she should still somehow attend your wedding. If $ is the issue, maybe u can help her out?

Im sorry, I dont want to come across as rude or judgmental, but I dont understand why she would not be able to make it to your wedding...I dont think the fact that she lives 1/2 way across the US is a reason not to come to her daughter's wedding...maybe theres another reason...

I understand your dissapointment as it a great one...Im sorry that you're going through this

Well, she just moved to TN about 2 months ago. I know that she has been working on her new house there and getting settled. Plus there is an issue between her and my sister, they haven't spoken in 3yrs (way too long to explain). so...
It's not that she can't afford to come it's other things - whatever it is.
All I know is that I can't make a big deal out of it or think that it has anything to do with me. I know that it doesn't - she's been completely supportive of all of this and doing so much research work for me that I know she wants to be there but something is stopping her. Sad yes, but it should be fine. The other man in my life (my 7yr old son) will be by my side so that will make it ok!! I am having him and my father walk me down the aisle.
