Which I thing is GREAT!!! One little problem is that I just ordered the BM dress two weeks ago...I still want her to be one of my BM, but I think I need to order her a different dress... I originally ordered an Impressions two piece - maybe change the top and order a bigger skirt?? She will be 5 months pregnant and this will be second child, so will probably be bigger....
Anyone have any ideas?
******************** I found my pregnant BM an empire waisted dress that is also made by Impressions...It has a flowy skirt. She seems very happy that I was able to change the dress. Im off to order it from Netbride.com. Yippee!! Crisis adverted!!

Call the place and ask if you can change the size, or ask them what to do.
My SIL is a BM and just got PG so they told us to just order a yard of extra fabric and it should be fine, since it was too late to change the size.

Same thing happened to me...only just as we were going to order my bm's dresses...my best friend of almost 20 years finally got pregnant with TRIPLETS!!! She is no longer going to be a bm in my wedding.

I ordered my BM dresses thru Netbride.com....I put a call into them and am waiting for them to call me back (they are in central time zone)

I just found out my BM is pregnant too and the dresses are IN! We called the shop and they are ordering a few yards of that fabric just in case to make panels. Her fitting is scheduled 2 weeks before the wedding! I'm nervous too.

Definitely call the shop. I would order a couple sizes bigger and/or perhaps a different (more comfortable, if necessary) style.
This happened to a bridal party I was in once and we had already rec'd our dresses (RK bridal - so they came in in like 2 weeks) but the BM was about 4-5 months but she didn't show much. Wound up the dress shop had ordered me a dress that was much to big for me so me and the girl were able to switch.

my MOH will be 8 months preggo for the wedding. i had originally gone with impressions separates, but the seamstress didn't think it would work for her - the top i had chosen was not long enough to go over her belly (none of them were). we ended up getting her a one piece impressions dress - same color as the BP, just a different style.

My MOH was preggo at my wedding , 5 months but a BIG 5 months, we had to get her a totally different dress Jim Hjelm carries.
Call your place & ask. Mine waited till 2 months before till she ordered because we didnt know how big she'd be & good thing we did!
I was told they can add extra panels in also

My sister/MOH was pregnant at my wedding about 5 months, we didnt know she was going to pregnant but we order up a size instead of down (jim Hjelm from netbride), and the week before a seamstress took it out alittle, worked great, she was lucky we had dark brown plaid, so she doesnt even look pregnant in the pics She looks great!!
there is usually alittle extra material in the dresses to let them out alittle

My MOH got pregnant right after I asked her. She is due in January and my wedding is in april. Her dress may not fit her but if it doesn't, well just find her something similar. No big deal

I have a prego bm too. My bm dresses are two piece- they said they will not have a problem altering it and she just ordered a bigger size. Go talk to the ladies at the shop- they will tell you how tohandle it.

I was able to cancel her dress...yeah!! She told me she would not feel comfortable in the two piece dress I picked. Which is fine, and thank heavens I was able to cancel her dress order. So now I need to try to find and empire waist dress. Hopefully I will be able to find one thru Impressions so that the colors match.
So it worked out in the end!! If anyone else is using Impressions and has a pregnant BM let me know what dress they are wearing!!! thanks

JIm Hjelm now has a line of maternity bridesmaid dresses-maybe you can get something from there that matches the one you got from impressions.
