Just got a call about winning gifts, have to go to four points sheraton?!

Hi girls. I just got a call from a 631 area code, and they said that I somehow registered for some kind of giveaway, and we were one of the 5% of couple choosen. They said the gifts are either a 3 night stay in different locations all over the country, and tungston wedding band and coupons worth a 1000$. I asked what the catch was, and they said none but the would have items for sale at this 'event'

It is tomorrow at the four points sheraton, has anyone heard of this? Is it a scam?

It's not a scam they do have the 'gifts' ... You have to listen to a guy talk cooking pans and pots that were really expensive. If I was rich I would of totally bought them they were really nice. Then the vacation it is just the hotel for the two nights everything else you would have to pay for (flight and what not). The coupons it is for a site you normally pay for and you get one year membership for free. It is time consuming but FH and I thought for sitting for an hour it was worth it. You fill out a survey at the end but they don't ask for any personal information.

Yeah, we got that call one day too. They wanted us to to a Hotel in Jamaica Queens. We decided against. Just sounded to good to be true.

They had a book you could look at and I think some website. They were basic wedding bands. We didn't get them we just got the vacation and the coupons.
