just got a call from Bridal Reflections

so i had a voice message from Bridal Reflections in Carle Place...

'hey, this is ......., from bridal reflections, just wondering if you bought your dress yet, if not we had three great locations with a great selection..... '

goes in for a few minutes...

ummmm, i already bought my dress from you!!!!

my mom and i were JUST in there. i've spoken to you on the phone.

i know it was just a coincidence, but i hate cold calls, and now i have people calling that i have already booked with!!!!

grrrr...

My Florist, My DJ and My Limo company all still send me postcards in the mail and i'm always like ... UM HELLLOO I booked with you take me off your mailing list!!

I get annoyed, too...I just say, 'I hate to cut you off, but I already have a photographer/band/etc picked out.'

There's one photographer that really annoys me. They've emailed me and called me at least 5 times. GIVE UP ALREADY!

I got a call a few weeks ago from a band that I had an appt with 2 days later.

But, at the same time, I gotta let these people try to make a living! It's all about sales!

i have this one dj company that keeps calling me. I keep telling them i have a dj already. please leave me alone. i dont even let her finish talking. i just cut her off and say 'before you start, i know why you are calling. But like i have told you before numerous times, i already have a dj. thanks, but no thanks.' and can you believe she called back 3 weeks later?! haha i ignored it. and nothing since.

i would be embarrassed if i were them. they should get their sh*t straight before they make their calls to solicit business. i totally get vendors calling for your business - but YOUR vendor?? that you've already booked with?? that would annoy me.
