from the bridal and tuxedo store in shoreham and what a bunch of sweet people there....my mom is STILL looking for her MOB dress and my wedding is in like 2 months! anyway, they stayed past closing and were just so nice to her and made her feel so special... just thought i would share. my mom has been unable to find ANYTHING and she found some nice classy (non-gaudy) type things there....

Has your mom thought about buying a BM dress? My mom likes the fact the she can choose any top and bottom, and the BM dresses come in such a wide variety of colors and everything else..
Or did she find something there?

she found a dress from Jade by Jasmine....it is a serperate with a top and bottom; thats a good idea though..... this way, any top and any bottom would match. she really had her heart set on this jessica mcklintock bridal gown and we thought it came in different colors but only white and ivory. my mom feels that ivory is too close to white and refuses to get it. i told her to go and have it made in a different color!!!

Is that the Jessica McClintock in Roosevelt Field? How is there stuff nice? My mom didn't start looking yet, but I think the BM dress is the way to go for her...Did your mom go to Estelles? If so how was their selection?

My FI Aunt works there (Cathy) - they are sooo great- im getting all my dresses there- they have a great selection and can basically order something if they dont carry it- and they even do tuxes and invitations

Your mom will be in great hands! My mom got her dress and did the alterations there, and I also got my dress altered there. They are the SWEETEST people to deal with. Good luck to your mom!

My mom looked at Estelle's and IMO their stuff was kinda cheap looking.
My mom was going to go the BM way but then started trying on some samples of MOB dresses that were for sale and wound up getting a beautiful gown that was originally $900 for $400. We went to Paradise Bridal and they were soooooooooooooo nice.
