I was very impressed. All the food I tried was terrific. I think I may have even found a photographer. Anyone using North Island Photography, (his work looked beautiful). Any feedback would be great. Also, I can't afford a band, but after tonight I realize I want one. I saw TimePiece, they seemed great. Now I am bummed out about the DJ, but it is all I can afford. So I need to find a DJ that is not cheesey. Any suggestions for that would be great too. Thanks ladies...

Just got back from Flowerfield- need help...
I just got back from Flowerfield too. I loved North Islands work too, but he was booked on my date. Our band was supposed to be there, but couldnt make it so I was disapointed. I was never there at night and it was just so beautiful.

I came across Stan Weist the other day, he has a DJ/entertainment company based in Fort Salonga (near Northport) he was extremely professional and appears to be 100% against any type of 'cheese', in fact, he makes it clear that there are no giveaways, etc. His number is 631-754-4263. I haven't booked him yet but am strongly considering it. His price was $950 for the reception, plus $250 for the cocktail hour. also found SPN Music, 516-767-3919, who also claimed absolutely no cheesy stuff. Good luck!

I got married at Flowerfield...
and I used DanceJock for my DJ. They were extremely professional and 'cheese-free'. I made it clear that I wanted absolutely no line dances (chicken, etc.)no giveaways, and no harassing of my guests to 'get up and dance' and theymade sure to honor those things. In fact, I mentioned at one of my meetings with my emcee that I LOATHE conga lines, and when a few people started one he actually made a really funny announcement that I was not to be grabbed to participate, which saved me from having to run to the bathroom at my own reception.

My aunt/uncle got married there last Feb. and it was absolutely beautiful. They used Spin Around Sound as their DJ and that's who I've chosen to use as well. They have a whole list of 'cheesy songs' that they will not play unless YOU request them.

Just got back from Flowerfield- need help...
I'm using Michael - North Island Photography. He is the best- so nice and extremely talented. He did our engagement photos already and we couldn't have been happier- we were in his book last night! :-)
Getting married June 1 and I know he will be great based on out experience with him.
