Just came back from making my donation for my favors. I highly suggest that all late 2009/2010/2011 girls who have not yet completed their favors and were thinking of doing a donation, especially to an animal related charity, check them out. The compound did look relatively clean and up to date, but you could tell that they do REALLY need all the help that they can get.
Our donation is going to sponsor one cat and one dog for a year...while they couldn't change the wording on the stock cards for us besides just our first names, on the website where they show the sponsorships they're going to put in memory of Angel, and the woman who helped me said that she'd make sure that the cat that's sponsored is a Classic Tabby just like he was

This is my first post here ever, although I have lurked forever.
I was at the Little Shelter this weekend too, dropped off blankets, towels, and newspapers. Also spoke with them about my wedding donation there as well! The woman who called me back this morning said she had another bride coming in today to make her wedding donation too.
This shelter does amazing work, they are a no kill shelter and even have a sanctuary up state NY where 'unadoptables' can happily live out their lives.
I am so excited to promote their organization at my wedding.
