Honestly I think no one even notices the stamp. I can say I hav enever even taken note of what stamp was used on the invitations received.

But keep in mind that most invitations need a 60 cent stamp because of the additional weight with the inserts so you need a stamp that comes in the denomination!

Also a cute idea and piece of trivia...

when you send out your invites, you can put your stamp upside down to symbolize love in the tradition one of the world wars (can't remember which) when it was used as a symbol to alert the men that the letter they received was from their sweetheart. :o)

I wasn't too thrilled with it, but I wasn't going to stress over something that was going to get thrown out anyway. IMO, you have more things to worry about and keep you busy than searching for a pretty stamp. I just stuck it on and now I never have to see it again!!
