Thanks to julz33 for posting about a study that was being done, I signed up for part of it and did testing yesterday and then I went skydiving this morning. As far as I am concerned it was the most amazing experience ever!!!! I absolutely loved it, though as we were about to jump out of the plane I was sure I was making a huge mistake but once I was falling down, it was so incredible!!! Anyway, I just have all this pent up energy now and wanted to share!! I highly recommend it!! DH is doing it on Monday and I'm so jealous right now!!!

That's awesome! I'm glad you had such a good time! I've been wantingto go skydiving for year! I just can't afford it right now so I keep putting it off.

Too late! I'm all ready to quit my job and work on becoming an instructor. The guy I jumped with (who had an adorable Australian accent I just need to add) said he goes every day as many times as he can!!!
Danielle - I did it as part of a study Stony Brook is doing so it was, after they reimburse me, $80. But, there is another portion of the study which I couldn't do b/c I couldn't get any more time off work (2 night stay in the hospital), where you'd actually get paid and do the dive for free. Unfortunately, since it's part of a study, there is stuff you have to do that makes it maybe a little less enjoyable then if you weren't doing it, but it was still amazing. I think regularly they charge around $225-240

Oh fun!!!! I was suppose to go last year for my birthday, but it was too windy. We have a raincheck and need to go sometime this summer.

Yeah, I thought that could be a problem!!!

As I said, I didn't do the overnight stay part of the study (though I did have to go in yesterday for a couple of hours for some testing), so I had to pay partially. But it was SOOO worth it!!!!
