We live in VA so it was an office in Alexandria down here. I heard mixed things about them letting you do this or not, but it was NO prob at all for me

No, I did not hyphenate just have both names. You CAN do it. If SS didn't let me I was going to go to a lawyer and just do it legally and then go from there but it's all good!
