Just got back from !st venue visit @Med. Manor...why do I feel so clueless?
Hello, I just visited med. manor. The place was nice but I wasn't wowed. The price is excellent for me. I still feel like I have no idea what I am doing or what I am looking for. How will I feel when I know that I have the right venue?

defenitly keep looking. What are you getting for what they charge? does the place have great areas for pictures how is the room set up? is it in a way you would like? what are their food choices? what are the extra fees if any?
I am having my reception at Majestic Gardens, i didnt shop around much becuase they have such amazing places for pictures and there food is amazing and its location is perfect for us so it had all we wanted. They are also very reasonably priced. Look at a few places, take notes and take it from there

It's sounds cliche but you will know. I visited there and wasn't wowed either. It was the first place that I went to. It was good because it gave me something to build off of for future RH visits. Do a search on here for questions to ask while visiting. Brainstorm a little about what kind of feel you want your wedding to have. Also, the time of year can be a big factor for pricing. If you know when you want to go married you may be able to bargain by acting like you are interested in a time or day that would be more expensive and then 'settling' for the date you actually wanted. HTH

I think you'll *know* when you've found it. I was looking for a place with outdoor reception/ceremony and checked a few out. I wasn't wowed either, even though some of the prices were great. Then we went to crest hollow, and everything just clicked together. The banquet manager was great, the place was beautiful, they had a russian menu (which was very important) and the price was workable. I think you need to sit down, and try to visualize your wedding. Like what's your style, do you want it formal or not, do you want any part of it outside. Then go visit the ones you have your eye on and see if they're really what you want. Good luck!

they have a package that can't be beat but so does Brentwood Country Club and I think Ariana Waterfalls (I think that's the name!!)

I actually think that when you walk into the place you want to get married, you'll know. The girls' suggested questions are great, but you'll be less clueless when you see something you love, then the right questions seem to just flow!
