Just got back from the Post Office. Square invite question

I just got back from the post office on 31st street in Manhattan. They told me my square invite from her would only be .61 to mail. I had them check with a supervisor and she said .61 as well. Could this be possible?

I always thought it would be much more. I have heard $1.05 and $1.22.

Thanks, I am going to try another post office to double check. I'll be sooooooooo happy if its only .61!
