Just got back from vacation.. WITH PICTURES!
Hey girls!
I just got back from vacation yesterday... Uggghhh now Im sitting here at work, once again. My FI & I had a great time. We flew down to rainy (& yes very rainy) Florida where we stayed at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood (right outside of Ft. lauderdale). The hotel was absolutely AMAZING. We even got a free upgraded room to a suite because we checked in very early and that was the only roon they had available at the time. The pool area was unbelievable! We got some sunshine - enough to lay out and catch some rays for a few hours & enjoy the pool.
The following day we headed down to Miami where we took a cruise to the Bahamas for 3 days. We sailed Royal Caribbean 'Majesty of the Seas' <---- Which was a really nice big ship considering it was 13 years old!. Our first port was CoCOCay, Royal Caribbeans private island. The weather there was beautiful and the island itself... AMAZING! Our 2nd port was Nassau which IMO was very run down.-----> not what we expected the Bahamas to look like at ALL!!! We weren't impressed , so we took a ferry over to Paradise Island where we visited the Atlantis which was GORGEOUS!!!! The whole day was overcast, but we still had a great time.
The whole trip was a blast. My FI & I got to spend alot of time together. I love him!! We ate a whole lot (My diet went down the drain!!)![]()
Anyway, the whole trip was wonderful.. We did a whole bunch of things onboard.. saw shows, went to the casino...etc. Our flight was delayed coming back to NY because of the torrential downpours & lightning storms in Ft. lauderdale. Im just happy to see that now that Im back, we have such beautiful weather here in NY!
Im kind of glad to be back. Being that I was only going away for 4 days , I thought the whole trip would go by so fast, but it didn't. It was long enough and very RELAXING.. Ahhhh
