Soooo....
I just picked up my veil and headpiece!! I have my camera on me and I tried everything on at work in the bathroom like the dork that I am, and I even took pics!!! I was thinking I can post the pics right now... ONLY PROBLEM... I don't have the wire or the little usb port to do it with.

BUT I will say the veil and headpiece are sooooooo pretty!!! My anxiety of how it will look together is gone gone gone!

The Thomas Knoell headpiece is really really pretty. SOOOO NOT what I remember purchasing! I THOUGHT I got something with some random pearls on it. And I remember thinking... WHY did I get pearls (I love pearls but I'm not pearl girl... random pearls are cool but not so much strings of pearls... even though I like them.. IDK i'm strange with it).... and I was nervous that I got pearls being that nothing else had pearls. well it turns out there are NO pearls in it at all! What's really strange is that I DON'T REMEMBER AT ALL ever seeing this headpiece... and I KNOW I did because I bought it!! I even double checked the name of it and evrything! haha! But in any case I LOVE IT! And that Mr Thomas Knoell was right on... he picked out the headpiece when I had the veil and dress on... and everytime I picked up another headpiece he got antsy becuase he knew it wasn't right. So I went with his opinion on it... and as of right now I'm very happy I did!!!!

I also love my Augusta Jones veil!! It's very pretty, classic, and elegant! It's like that Mantilla style... but it has a comb so it's not exactly like some of the pics I've seen. But the sides and back are just like the mantilla pics I've seen!

Kleinfeld's even threw in the blusher for free. Normally it's $50 but they said because I'm a nice girl they gave it to me for freee!!! SCORE!!!!

At first I was having doubts about wearing a blusher... but after trying on the blusher I am SO ROCKING it! It looks really nice... and I feel like it makes my face look softer, if that makes sense.

I'm sooo sorry I don't have pics to post right now... BUT I will come back to this thread when I get home and post the pics later today!!!

SOOO EXCITING!!! Now I can't wait for my dress!!!!

And I can go on a trial with my headpiece and veil... what you can't see at the moment... is the dance I'm doing in my chair at my desk!!! hahahahaha!!!!!

OH I will say this though... I had an awfully hard time putting the veil and headpiece in properly... and it so wasn't in right. so if it looks funny... that's why! Those combs with hair down are just hard to do! I hope the professionals can totally handle it because I sure as sh*t couldn't do it!!!!

it's augusta jones. it you want the style number let me know. It's hard to find. I got it for $470 at Kleinfelds. After I bought it I started looking for it online because I couldnt remember what it looked like.... but my search was a big fat failure!!! i can't find it anywhere at all!!!!!

They have it in Kleinfeld's. And as a matter of fact... I was the first one ever to buy that particular veil there because when I ordered it they didn't even have it in their computers so they had to add it in first.
I didn't know Thomas Knoell had it in his store. When did he have it??

EDIT to change that the veil wasn't what they had to input in the system... it was the headpiece. Imust have been half asleep... sorry about that!

Back in April he had a couture veil trunk show....I fell in love with it but Im so indecisive and didnt have anyone with me. I wanted to bring my mom back to see it but didnt have the time and i was so bummed...Can you give me the style # and maybe I can try to find it? Or maybe i should just go to kleinfelds?

Oh wow that's funny. When I ordered the heapiece and veil there Thomas Knoell was there. He saw my dress and veil on in Klienfelds and he picked out that headpiece. he was adament about that being the right headpiece. But my eyes were looking all over the place and trying everything one. But in the end I listend to him and got it. This was the very beginning of March.

In any case... the veil isn't from Thomas Knoell though... it's from Augusta Jones. But here is the style number... I have on my receipt 5091 - VNLLNB. They have 2 samples of i there you can try on... one is mine and the other is cathedral length.

Thanks so much!! Yea the couture veil show wasnt his designs they were from various designers. They were really nice and Im so upset I missed the opportunity to get it.
