Just got engaged!!!
Hi! I'm new to the site thanks to my best friend (XcoLeyx18). My FH (I kno the lingo already hehe) and I just got engaged last week on our vacation and heres how it went:
We went away to Daytona, FL and had went out to dinner to this georgous restaurant which was located on the 29th floor over looking Daytona. We got a glass of wine and were doing the whole cheesy holding hands across the table. Luke told me how much he loved me and was rubbing my finger so I said ohhh soo empty and he gave a cute lil smirk. We wound up ordering an appetizer (Mussels fra diablo) which i'm not that big of a fan on seafood but Luke insists I try new things so i did but after my nose started to run b/c of the spicyness. So I ran to the bathroom real quick to freshen up and blow my nose, upon returning we finished dinner and the waitress asked if we'd like dessert..me turn down dessert?! def not! so of course we ordered this huge chocolate concoction! The waitress had brought the dessert to the table and when she placed the plate down the ring was in the box opened on the plate facing him w/ the dessert. I started freaking out and sooo many emotions were running throughout my body, I never even remembered or heard him ask 'Will you marry me?' all I could focus on was the ring and it felt like time stoppped. Luke was staring at me and then had put the ring on my finger and OMG was I infatuated w/ it! I did the whole girly thing by watching it sparkle and eyes glued on the ring haha. Poor Luke after a few minutes which to him felt like an eternity finally asked sooo yes or no? I said I dont know LOL and then of course said YES! We were about to kiss when the waittress interrupted to say congrats! and then after paying I gave him the biggest hug and kiss we left and I called everyone I knew to tell them the news! we then went for drinks and had an amazing rest of the week. Ohhh....what I forgot to tell you girls is that the ring was wrapped up in a tourist map and at the bottom of my pocket book. When I went to the bathroom he had quickly gave the ring to the waittress. I cant believe I was holding the ring the whole time..thank GOD i didnt bring my bag w/ me to the bathroom I always do but for some reason I didnt that night. Very smart yet sooo risky on his part! But i love him to death and am soo excited to plan my wedding.
So back to reality and home from an amazing and most memorable time of my life and here I am engaged and ready to go but I have no idea where to begin!!
