just got home from emergency room...

unfortunately I was in a 3 car accident on my way home from work. I was stopped at a red light in the left turning lane when I got hit from behind...apparently the car that hit me was hit by a drunk driver. Luckily a witness had been following the drunk driver and calling the cops from Valley stream to rockville ctr where it happened. he gave a statement and she went to jail. She was so drunk she peed on herself. All I have is a strained neck...thank god!

OMG!!! Thank god you're ok. This makes me so angry that people get behind the wheel like that. Here's an idea-stop drinking or don't get in a car. Unbelievable!!! Glad you are going to be ok...it's good you went and got checked out right away.

the witness said she fell asleep at the wheel at one point and he almost was able to get out and grab her from the car until someone honked at her waking her up and then she kept driving and almost took out 20 other cars before hitting us. she was saying 'i'm sorry' to the officer and then asked to drive her car home

that's horrible. I'm glad you're ok. I don't understand where people think it's ok to drink and then get behind the wheel of a car. It makes me so angry.

thanks ladies! I'm fine and so is my car for the most part...just a sore neck and headache from having my brain rattled like that...and my bumper is slightly pushed in making it hard to close the trunk all the way...but if you just looked at it...you probrably wouldn't even notice it...its just the alignment of the trunk is slightly off now. I was more in shock and just ANGRY that this lady would continue driving knowing she was drunk and STILL continue to drive when she fell asleep at the wheel the first time. SERIOUSLY...even if in your drunken stupor you thought you were ok to drive...once you get on that road and realize otherwise...PULL OVER!!!

OMG I'm glad that your ok. I just can't believe that she still kept on driving in her condition and wanted to after the accident.

well...the humour in it is...

joey was very relieved when they asked for my urine sample and told me I'm not pregnant! LOL ...no honeymoon babies for us.


Although he did tell the nurse and Dr...'you can pull the plug, I'm ok with it...I've made my peace' LOL ...WHAT AN ***!!! didn't take him long to get back to his old non newlywedded bliss self.
