i cant believe how early they got here! i had called early this morning to see and approximate time- and of course the lady said between 10-2. Well at 9:45 as i started clearing out my old furniture they arrived!! I couldnt believe it.
I cancelled the bed and just got the 2 dressers and the end table. I decided I want a QUEEN bed (yes i still have a full) with a brand new mattress (u know how $$ mattresses are)and I want a metal frame bed- but thats next years tax check. between my florida, new orleans trip and a baby/bridal shower I think ive tapped myself out for this year...
the furniture is really nice- natural color wood.. bye bye old ugly ex husbands furniture...

FYI - we just bought a queen size box spring and mattress from BJs in Islandia for $400. That was the best price we found.

Congrats! Enjoy the new furniture! There is a good place for mattresses in Garden City Park called Bed Quarters, on Jericho Tpke. by Jonathan's (right near where the old Warner's store was). They have good prices and sometimes sell the floor models. Just FYI!

the furniture actually is a little darker but i like the natural wood- its sturdy also...! thanks everyone for the info on the bed.. i will be making that purchase towards the end of the year- unless I start having sleepovers again...

like is said before, the wood is a little darker. i love natural wood but not too light... this was perfect. ill take pics and download tomorrow..
