...and now I feel bad because I commented on the thread where a girl complaned that she had not heard from Tessa for like 2 weeks. Well, I hadn't heard from her in about a month! So I emailed Tessa and asked her if she would be able to do my invites in time for them to be mailed in July or if I should go elsewhere and I reminded her that she had not gotten back to me in about a month despite several emails and she finally replied apologizing profously and told me that she has been awake nights because she feels so bad that she is not able to get back to everyone because she is so overwhelmed.

While I think that perhaps she should not accept so many orders, it is what it is. I just wanted to pass on that info for others in the same situation. I was totally ready to go elsewhere but I am so glad that I didn't because I love these invites!

Since so many have asked about the prices...

I don't know yet. I gave Tessa a budget of $750 for 100 invites and definitely not more than $1,000 and she said that she would tell me if what I was asking for would be more and she has not told me that. She is going to mail me the proof, contract, price quote and papers so I will find out the exact number soon. I am actually really nervous to find out how much this is all going to cost. I am guestimating that it will between $700 and $1,000 but I will keep you posted. The only thing that might put me over budget is that I am getting raised gold metallic printing, which Tessa does not do (FYI) so they must be sent out for that. She is getting me a separate quote for that.

FYI...If you want her to do your invites then get on the list now! She charges extra for rush orders, meaning if she has to move you up the list. I believe it is like 15% of your overall order, so if your order is $1,000 then there is a $150 rush fee...eeks!
