My old friend... who I met in 4th grade and then lost touch with and found and lost and found again. and then lost again. haha!! We got really close in our early 20s again too, then lost touch when she moved to the bronx....
anyway I invited her to my wedding. She was one of 3 old friends that I was REALLY hoping would come!! And she was the ONLY one to say yes!! I was soooo happy about that!!!
So anyway, I just got a text from her that says: Hey Kerri Berri. The big day is coming soon. Hope all is well. Let me know if you need anything. can't wait to see you. take care.
And that was enough to make me teary!!! I wrote her back.... Michelly... I'm sooo f*cking excited to see you!!! I'm doing a bee line to give you the biggest hug out of everyone!
Haha!! I'm just soo happy she is coming!!!

Nice.. I totally understand how you feel!! Two of my closest friends from J.H.S came to the wedding and throughout were very supportive!! I got sooo emotional when I saw them!! You realize the impact you had in their lives when you see them look for you and continue to be your friend!

i was soo hurt by the other 2. One more than the other. but Michelle made up for that BIG TIME!!!! I sooo can't wait to see her!!
I haven't seen her in soooo long!! At least 3 years or so!!! I see her mom all the time though.
Edit to add that - she was even invited to the shower and couldn't make it... BUT she sent a gift and I was soooo touched by that!!!!

awww yay!! that is great that shes coming!! you really find out who your friends are during this whole process and its nice to know that she will always be one, even if you lose touch every now and then

I think that's why I'm sooo touched and super emotional over it!!
We were very good friends after we both had our hearts broken (I was a little more pathetic) and were just single girls who went out a lot together. An odd couple... since I was a big drinker and she wasn't... but we were such good friends!!! And just the fact that she is the only one out of the 3 (unrelated people) who I REALLY thought would come... just makes me feel like she's sooo much more special to me!!! I'm soo touched just that she's coming!! I'm probably looking MOST forward to seeing her out of anyone else there!!

Thats awesome!!!!!! I had a very close friend come that we had not seen each other for almost 10 years because she lives upstate and does not make it down much....
It really is nice when old friends come to the wedding!!!!!!

I'm not attending my CH... so I'm going to send one of my BM's down to scope it out. If Michelle isn't busy I'm going to make the BM bring her upstairs to the bridal suite so she can come hang with us!!!
