If it's Grand Jury that can be a month! If it's reg jury duty and they don't pick you, you are off the hook for the next 7 years! Or...you can always delay it if you haven't tried that once already?

In order to postpone you still have to show up. I would try & go to the courts ahead of time & see if there is anything you can do.

I don't think you have to go to the courts, there should be an option on the form. Mail a copy back with proof of your flight info, usually that is more than enough to postpone. There is also a contact number.

Do you have to start calling 2 days before your honeymoon? You have plenty of time to contact the courts to have a postponement. As another poster stated...copies of airlines tix and or credit card statements with the flight info on it...or even a copy of your marriage license should get you out of it. I called, theres an 800 number and its all automated and i postponed until January, hopefully it worked cause they dont give you any sort of confirmation. Oh well!

Definitely call to post pone it. You can even choose the date, and do it sooner rather than later because they won't let you do it within a business week of your call in date.

You should be fine then, just keep a note of the day and time you called.
