Unbelievable that if you post something negative on this site the vendors either compklain to the site and have it removed or get intouch with the bride who did the complaining. This is supposed to be a site where we can talk openly. I guess not.

I am sorry this happened to you. I think when you contact someone for another trial, you should let them know what happened and tell them that you were happy with your trials and are hoping they'll work with you. I'm sure they will to try to snag your business!

hey 07er crashing here..

but I have to say that there must be more the story as to why she would offer you back your money. Maybe someone said more to her about you? I would ask her what's going on.

It's ashame b/c she is amazing. I had her for my wedding and work is beautiful. The day of my wedding she came in and had this calming & reassuring vibe that made me relax. When she came to do our hair & m/up she was 8 & 1/2 mths pregnant and never complained and was on her feet for 7 hrs. She showed up a 1/2 hr early and stayed with me all day and touched up my make-up throughout the day for FREE! i did'nt book her for all day.. but she was just generous. I would talk to her and clear up any misunderstandings.

Maybe there is more to the story but Like I said she is not my friend and I dont need to explain things to her nor do i care to ask her whats going on

WE had a contract and no matter what she *thinks* I said she cant just cancel on me. She is acting like a child and I will not explain myself to her ya know?

all I said about her was that I was nervous..I think she needs to chill out.. I am going to call her and tell her not only do I want my money back for the deposit but i want it back for the trials because I DIDNT CANCEL on her she cancelled on me!

I am so mad about this and its a shame because i really liked her alot..as a person and as a artist

lol, jessie you didn't steal anyone! She made the mistake, not you. And I have no idea! I'm having so much trouble finding a make-up artist with no minimum. Didn't you say you had a friend that worked for MAC? You should try that

well the girl who works for Mac is awesome but I didnt want to use her because she is a friend and Id feel wierd having her charge me like nothing ya know?

but maybe she can recommend someone whos really good instead of just going to a makeup counter because that will prob be very hit or miss ya know
