just had a heart attack
i emailed my banquet manager a cake that FH and I liked that we'd rather use instead of the ones offered by the RH (their options are kinda ugly and not 'us') ...
the cake we liked is very similar to the one that the RH offers so we figured it'd be free.
the BM emailed me back quoting me $750 for it ....
luckily, i asked him why the f- it's so much more when it's soooo similar to the one they offer .... it's cause of a misunderstanding (they thought i was asking for fondant .... though adding $4.50 just for fondant is still insane!) ... anyway, i still don't know if it'll be free or not, but he's re-asking the bakery.
