Just had a $$ meltdown....

How the eff are we going to do all of this??!!!

No worries, I had mine over the weekend with FH. Then he sat there and reminded that while I may be broke, we are not. I keep forgetting that I'm looking only at my income and expenses, and not our combined income!

Maybe sit down with FH and actually write out all of your finances. Combined take home pay per month, bills, gas, food, etc.

don't let it stress you...

just try to put as much as you can aside from your paychecks and trust me, it adds up quickly....

I noticed that having the money come out of your paycheck and having it direct deposited into your wedding acct TOTALLY helps...

I used to have it where I would get my entire paycheck to my personal account and would then 'put some' into our wedding funds....never would happen so by having it go separately, you don't touch it and it builds up pretty quickly!!!

I have one of these once a month hehe. I cry and freak out then look at my spreadsheet, then my account and savings then back to the spreadsheet.

I feel your pain. We are cutting back where we can. And we are on a very tight budget we get a $20 allowance. It ***** but I was having major panic attacks before we started doing this. Look at where you can cut corners and save money. We cut out flowers in our centerpieces, we are doing lanterns and candles, we are DIYing invites, menus, placecards and everything else we can think of. We are not having any children and trying to cut prices on limos and the dj. Its HARD but doable.

I'm so glad you posted this because I'm wondering the same thing. We're trying to pay for a wedding and become home owners in less than a year and we're just starting to look. It's all so overwhelming and I don't know how this is all going to happen but I'm trying to stay positive

Am I allowed to have one even though my weddingis 2011? I know i still have time to plan.. and were doing it all on our own with 2 very huge families... The other day fh mom made it a point to say Im not her daughter so she doesnt have to pay for anything the parent of the groom only pays for stuff if they love their son alot .. We've never asked her for a penny by the way ..

girl i had a money meltdown as well a little while ago...just take it one payment at a time and know you still have a good amount of time to save...just take a lil break from the wedding planning if you're feeling stressed
