Just had an outrageous hair quote!! Mini heart-attack

They quoted me a $1000 plus 20% for travel for just doing my hair. That is nuts..

I know I would never ask my BMs (not even my sister) to pay $300 to get their hair done for 1 day--that is crazy. I don't even think I spend that much on my hair all year

Gah! I mean, I've heard of celebrity hairdressers charging $300 for a cut, but that sounds ridiculous. Not that $300 is reasonable, but at least with a cut it, like, makes a difference for more than one day!

If your having your wedding on saturday or sunday I can recommend Calista she is very god and very reasonable My friend had her for her wedding last year the price was $75 for both hair and make up and she charged I believe it was $100 for travel she is in Pennsylvania. I would love to use her for my wedding but she doesn't do friday weddings.

When I had my hair long, I used to get it cut at Frederic Fekkai in the Chanel building in the city. They did MANY famous people. I didn't use a senior stylist but I paid about $120 or so. I never felt bad for it because I only cut my hair twice a year. If you average it out, most people do it about 4-6 times a year (maybe more) and it comes out the same.

NOW I get my hair doen in my friends kitchen. She does my color (double process base and high lights) and my cut for $60. Though now that I have short hair, I have to do it more frequently.
