Just had my Trial Hair and Make-up!!!!

I just had my trial today. My hair came out really nice. I feel like going out somewhere now because I am all done up. My make up came out good too. I am not used to wearing eye shadow and eyeliner. I just had regular make-up not the air-brushed make-up. I heard that is really great. It is a great prelude to the big day. I also booked a massage and facial for the day before my wedding

I went to my Salon. Christopher Jon Salon and Day spa. The girl that usually does my hair did my hair and a lady there did my make-up. It came out nice. I'll try and post a pic.

I would maybe check with the salon about the facial the day before the wedding. I've heard facials may make you break out initially, and that its best to get it a few weeks before the wedding. Like I said, I'm not 100% sure about any of this, but I'd just check it out.

Please do not get a facial the day before or even the week before. The mask that they will use on you during it will bring out any impurities that are underlying in your sky and cause them to come out causing break outs. You don't want to look like an a girl going thru puberty during the week of your wedding or your honeymoon.
I would talk to the lady, I can't even imagine why she would book you the day before..
The massage!! woowee!! I am getting one before my rehersal and I can't wait..

Glad your trials went well!! aren't they fun!

Thanks for the advice. I am rethinking the facial. I am going to cancel even though she said the facial will not break out my skin it might bring out impurities and I do not want to take that chance. I have sensitive skin anyway. I am definitely still getting the massage though. I am getting it the day of my rehearsal too. I think it will be well deserved

You should NOT do anything to your face or hair the weeks prior to your wedding. Get a facial a month before. Actually you should have a facial 3 months before, see how things go and then schedule one for a month prior to your wedding. Never take a chance like that. And any professional who suggests it I would be very leary of.
