Just had the scariest moment of my life. . . .

I was looking at AOL and I see 'strong earthquake hits caribbean' and my stomach DROPS bc my best friend is there RIGHT now ( jenn122397 ) I almost threw up at my desk. So I can't even function so I ask the girls at work to search for St Lucia and it was there too and like a 7.3!!! So now I am trying to compose myself and THANK GOD Lori convinced me to call her mom - i didnt want to scare her if she didnt know BUT Jenn had already called her! I feel SO MUCH BETTER NOW - i was getting sick over it. . .

Well, the earthquake hit and they had to stand in a doorway but it was really scary - Jenn said it lasted 45 seconds but felt like forever and now there is a tsunami warning so they have to stay off the beach.

Please pray for their continued safety and a safe flight home in a few days

Don't panic girls. I called my dad in Trinidad last night. He said it hit the inward islands but no one has reported any deaths of anything. Thank god!!

I got so scared when I found out and called my dad right away. My friend has family in Barbadous and cant get a hold of them but I think all the phone lines are down.

that is scary! I think you handled it really well, I'd be on the floor in a fetal position crying and sucking my thumb.

Yeha i heard about that yesterday. That is horrible. When I was in Greece this summer, it was soo hot, over 100 deg, and I prayed there wont be an earthquake, bec when it gets too hot , earthquakes occur. My dad lost his mom in an earthquake

OMG i can only imagine how you felt...THANK god she is ok, sorry she had to even go through it.

OMG!!!! Can you imagine if something like that happened on your honeymoon??

I am so glad she is okay and she will have a really great story to tell when she gets back!
