Just had to share! Update with pics at bottom!

I went home on my lunch and DH had finished the work that's been on-going in our living room for months! It's all finally done!!! All that's left is to clean it up a bit and hang some perty things!!! I am so excited!!!

One room down, a bunch more to go

ETA: I wish I had thought to take a 'before' picture! If I take an 'after' picture to show you girls it won't have quite the same effect without the 'before' shot, but I will take a pic anyway

I always think of that too late also!! FH spent forever fixing up his yard. When he moved into his place it was all just uneven gross looking dirt. He did sooooo much work on it and now it's gorgeous! Only afterwards did I think 'Hey, we shoulda gotten a BEFORE picture so that we can show off that green thumb you never knew you had!' Poor boy. We were so mad at ourselves. lol.

I'm glad the work is finished in your living room!!! Post some pics anyhow.

Re: Just had to share! Update with pics at bottom!

This is the office but I put it here b/c it's the same dark paneling that was in the living room, so it sort of counts as a 'before' pic:

The china cabinet was found by DH on the side of the road - someone was going to throw it out!

The new blinds (and the Oz-Man)

Our tree!

Re: Just had to share! Update with pics at bottom!

Thank you so much, ladies! I absolutely adore sitting in my living room now! It looks like 'ours' now, as opposed to before when it was still Grandma and Grandpa's house. We are just so excited!!!
