I just wanted to fill in those who dont have a TV

From the pentagon:

There has been more chatter about Iraq preparing chem/bio weapons for use in a war

From the UN:

There will be no vote on a 2nd resolution, France made explicit threat to veto. And UN inspectors have to get out of Iraq

oh god

my mom works in JFK and she said everyday there are more and more troops getting on planes to kuwait. I feel so bad for those men

i pray for all of our men to be safe and for our airports to be safe

this is such a terrible time for all of us

I don't want to start an agrument about the war or anything, but I am very confused by the UN, did they specifically say that Irag is allowed to continue having these weapons, or that military action is not necessary, I am very confused by what kind of authority the UN has? Can someone give me the brief version?

shelzyp...the UN is debating if their should be military action...or if they should give the UN inspecters more time to look for these weapons...

Its not that the UN is saying that Iraq can have weapons...but some nations are saying there should be more time...(trying to word it objectively...and not get into the reasons why some nations would not want to use military action)
