just kicked out a bm out of the wedding (long) - update

I can't even believe this is happening to me! I just kicked out my friend out of my wedding party. We have been friends since middle school and she totally has screwed me over.
The dress shop were they ordered the bm dresses called me tonight to tell me that they were having a problem with one of my girls. To make a long story short this girl bounced the deposit check on the dress and the shop has been trying to get the money from her for the past 2 months!!!
There are other reasons behind me kicking her out - but this was the last draw. The reasons mostly consist of lies and bull%$#*. Now i feel bad for the lady at the dress shop - i don't know how to handle that situation. Any suggestions??

sorry to hear that happened to you!! Did the bm dress actually come in...what is their policy on refunds/exchanges?

I am sorry that you are going through this. Talk to the dress shop and tell them the situation, can they order the other dresses?

I hope that this all works out. I know that it very painful when friends disappoint you so badly!! Believe I understand this!!

That ****s..but if your BM has been lying to you about stuff..youmade the RIGHT decision ..now you will be able to enjoy your wedding planning a bit more without the lies!!! Congrats!!!!

usually the bridal shop will hold her responsible, but I think if you have other BM & if your dress is there too, they may be able to use it as a sample or send it back, depending on the size, style, colour, etc...

well i asked another friend if she wanted to be in the wedding. She was aware of the whole situation. She said yes, so she is going to buy my 'x-friend's' dress from the dress shop and use that. Thanks you guys for your support!
