Just made an appt to try on dresses

So I saw that San Patrick is having a Trunk Show at The Designer Loft in NYC so I called to make an appt to go see some of those new 2010 dresses that just came out - my mom is going to go with me of course. I have a list of about 7 from the 2010 line that I like.

I am going to call them Thursday of next week to see exactly which dresses they have at the show and if they don't really have any of the dresses I am interested in I'm not even going to go to the appt. I may actually just make a trip to RK Bridal instead because they carry that line as well.

So hopefully Sunday, Jan 31st at 3:30pm I will be trying on pretty dresses

I was thinking about but I'd rather just relax this weekend, plus my 'friend' is supposed to be arriving either today or tomorrow so I don't wanna be all bloated trying on dresse LOL

yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa have fun... to me thats one of the best parts of wedding planning lol

totally worth it! You will always get a discount at a trunk show, although I'm not sure if the discount is only on the dresses from the new line or all San Patricks

You should call soon though because a lot of their appts are booked up. I think there was a 2pm still available for Sunday if you want to try and get that.

I just made an appt for the 31st @ 2:30. The girl on the phone explained the entire process to me. She said normally they can take off 10% off the price of the dress or even more if i tell her how much another store offered it to me for. I am so excited that i get to put the dress on again.

They are going to call me back to tell me what they will be selling that dress for so i can see if its even worth it. Thanks for the info

I thought so also. I actually found a store in LI that took $10 off RK bridal price so they will have to come in much cheaper. I would have to factor in transportation also

I just made up some random number and told them i got that quote at another store and she told me not a problem AANNNDD she told me many of their dress comes with the veil...WHAT? I thought i heard her wrong so i asked her again. She told me a price and told me that i could choose from any of the veils they have and they will throw that in. Originally i didnt want a veil so its not really that important to me so if i can get one for free yay for me
