Okay so I just got married... and I want to start changing my name... Where do I get my marriage license from? I got married in a church... does the church send it to me? or does the town/ state??

if you go to the Planning tab on LIW i think it tells you what you need to do.

I got married in NJ and I had to call the registrar to get mine mailed to me. I ordered a few extra copies as well.
Your first stop should be the social securit office. Bring your certificate, your social security card and your passport - and fill out the proper forms that you can find online.

Our marriage license was mailed to us about 2 weeks after our wedding date. They also sent us a huge package with all the info on where to go change my social security, and my dmv info.

I planned my wedding in 2 1/2 months! It is the greatest feeling to be done.. It was truely an amazing wedding, we had a TON of compliments everyone loved it and thought it was one of the best if not the best weddings they had been too! I'm just sad its all over... It went by soo fast I feel like I barely remember it!!! But it was amazing and now I have a wonderful husband.. we are both on 'Cloud 9'
