Just missed a call saying I won something....

This cannot be serious. So, she's gonna call me back cause I missed the phone call. But, the message said, something about my name being selected at a bridal showcase and they can only hold for a limited time...somewhere from Melville Bridal Showcase.

-Are these people legit?

Wait till they call back... generally with these things you have to go to a showcase or take a survey and purchase blah blah blah in order to win whatever it was you said...

was it Chef World Inc ... they select everyone and you get a free 3 day / 2 night hotel stay + $1000 gift card to some grocery coupon thing.

i actually did it and it was kind of a waste of time. It IS legit BUT you have to sit there for a 90 minute thing telling you how you need to buy thier pots and pans ... then you get the gift certificates ...

the hotel is kind of BS because it tells you that it's a holiday inn or marriot in one of 23 diff locations ... but it doesn't say which ones are where (so you can't look at the hotel itself online) .... you need to send $100 (supposedly refundable) check to get the actual 3 night stay ... i don't get it.

the grocery coupon is for something where you buy coupons ... kinda weird but who knows.

It's a total scam. Google the phone number they called from and you'll see reports from people saying they call from that number all the time and say the same things.
