Just need to VENT

I want to scream right now so I will just do a virtual one

I am soooo stressed and upset about this job search and today it really sunk it that I HAVE NOTHING!!!

I know my life could be worse right now...I could live in Louisiana or Mississippi or along the Gulf Coast and be jobless and homeless so I try to think of that when I get really down
Just need to vent

You're still not going back to that other awful place are you??? Maybe something will come from subbing jobs!!! You'll never know!! Try to think good thoughts!

I'm still looking for you and checking with my teacher friends. But all I can offer now are

i already know of 2 positions in my school (High School) sorry, it's not in your area...however it's just to show u how things come up and how desperate the schools get at the last minute..

I know for a fact my school is not listed under Boces..not all LI schools are..you should check each school districts website..they are all posting last minute jobs..and also check boces website.

Kathleen, Believe me I know how you feel. I just want to thank you for your support on fm's. It helps to know I'm not the only one going through this.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for both of us. This stress & depression will end soon.....

You will start getting subbing calls soon and something CAN come out of it, I told you this already but I got my 1st job a month into the school year cause the teacher decided to retire!!! It is possible! Keep those applications going in!

I am so sorry about your job finding troubles. My FH is also an Elementary teacher, and got NOTHING for this year. He is REALLY depressed, but marching forward applying for other types of jobs, I do know how difficult this time must be for you, I wish I knew the answer to it all. AS I tell him, hang in there, eventually the pendulum has to swing his way, as it does yours. Good Luck!
