Just need to VENT...

Well, took a hpt this morning...NEGATIVE. Ugh. I'm so depressed. We've been 'officially' trying for a year. This was our second Clomid/IUI cycle.
I feel like AF is on her way. I just want to crawl back in bed and cry.

We have an appt with an RE for May 13th. I guess we'll just take this cycle off. I have a feeling I'm going to have to do IVF anyway. Two weeks seems like an eternity!

Oh, has anyone ever requested their records from their dr? What is the procedure? I'm about to have it out with my gyn's office but need my records for the new dr and I'd like a copy for myself. Will they just give them to me or are they going to tell me they have to send them straight to the other dr?

I'm so sorry Lisa. While we've been at it for six months I can only imagine what it must feel like after a year. I'm sending you good thoughts. Is it maybe too early to test?

On the records: It depends. When I did it last time I had to fax in a request form. The docs office doesn't even handle it in my case. An outside company does it and I had to wait a few weeks to receive the records. Plus you'll probably have to pay a fee.

Lisa do not worry, I know it's not what you want to hear but you will conceive. It took my friend 1 year & 2 months, BABY DUST to you!!!!!

Regarding the records you have a right to a complete copy of your records. The recordkeeper should requests a signed written requdest from you. They may charge you for copies.

Your new doctor should have a sign for you to form to release your records to him/her.
I am sooo sorry about your BFN (big fat negative) that $ucks. I am sure you are upset- who wouldn't be. I think it is really important to for you to give yourself a breather every once and a while and treat yourself nice. Maybe a massage! Or a nice dinner out with DH.
There are so many options and medications on the market to help you get pg. You might just need a different dosage or combo. Keep the faith!

I called the drs office and they told me to fax over a request for the records. Of course I don't have a fax machine at home...lol. My internet one doesn't work with the DSL and I can't move my desk to plug in the other modem! I said it was not my day right!!! LOL I guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow to fax it from work. On the bright side, they didn't say anything about a charge.

I had surgery last December after finding out both my tubes were blocked. One had to be removed and the other was repaired but the dr wasn't sure how long it would stay that way. He said 4-6 months at the max b/c of scar tissue. I guess I'll have to have another HSG to check if that tube is open.
I'm just trying to stay positive but sometimes its soooooo hard. I hope everybody who's TTC gets their BFP's soon!!!

I'm sorry to hear about your negative test, it is frustrating I know, it took us 17 months to conceive and I didn't really start looking into it until last September...it's very stressful and depressing and all the above and I am happy that you have an appointment with the RE.

Getting agressive early on is the key and I wish I had done the same, good luck to you and you will have your BFP , trust me! Sending baby dust!

****Baby dust**** I am not planning on a baby yet, so I do not know what I will run into..but you can have all my good vibes and baby dust for now...I spent a few hours just holding a 5 week old today!!
