DH didn't request any time off for Passover yet (which, btw, is a MONTH away), and now he's asking for the time off and his boss is giving him a hard time. Apparently there are only two people who can cover his position, and one is on vacation that week while the other is assigned elsewhere.
It's PASSOVER. One of the most important holidays of the year. It's not like he's asking for random days off.
His boss is such a jerk to even make this an issue. A Month is PLENTY of notice.

that is COMPLETE BS!!!!! and I believe, can be an HR issue! a month's notice (or just about a month) is plenty of time, IMO.

But of course DH isn't going to make any waves over it, because he has this 'I should've asked sooner' attitude. And besides, he's not that observant, so it doesn't upset him to miss the seder the way it would me. I told him I was going to my Uncle's seder with or without him.
