Ok I wont lie I liked Inn at New Hyde Park, but they are not in my price range.:( I am bummed out, but then I keep remembering that Chateau Briand and Westbury Manor are very nice!!!! More than nice actually! WHY CANT I MAKE A DECISION?????!

Both of them are really nice. It might help to step back for a moment.
I almost had a mini breakdown when deciding. Everytime I thought i decided I would have some weird dream about it and wake up the next morning panicking. (it was really hard for me b.c i´m overseas and cna´t see the places inperson)
I had two places temporarily save my date (they did it for almost a week without having to leave a deposit. I wanted them to hold it until someone could go in to book) Then I tried to forget about it for a day or two and then I considered the info again. For me it meant looking at the website again to see the pics, and comparing exactly what each one was giving me to decide which one was better.
Basically my advice is relax and just breathe!! I always say this to people (and myself) and it really does help sometimes!!

I am a Westbury Manor bride. I love it there. I think you should make a list of what your looking for in a reception hall. Then see which one of the places meets most of the things on your list. Sometimes its easier to narrow it down by things that you don't want. That's how I picked. I knew I didn't want mirrored walls, gold chandeliers, lots of marble, etc. I wanted something that didn't really look like a reception hall (as much as that is possible). I wanted a cozy romantic feel, which is why as soon as I walked into Westbury Manor I knew it was the place. Good Luck

I agree that you just need to step back and think about which one really fits your needs, gives you the most for your money, and is your style, Chateau Briand and Westbury Manor have different decor and different tones... While I think WM is beautiful, it just really isnt my style so I went with CB cause I felt like it was more our style... I think you should make a list or something of the pros and cons of each place and just see which one is more for you... Good luck!

Hi, I'm also a Chateau Briand bride. I was also torn between WM and CB. You should definitely make a list of what you are looking for. Not sure how much The Inn was quoting you but did you also get pricing for CB and WM? Not sure what time you are looking to get married but you can FM me if you have questions about pricing or anything else. Good Luck. maybe you should keep looking? did you look at North Ritz Club? Millerage? Crestwood? Sandcastle? Floral Terrace?
I dont wnat to confuse you even more...but if you look at other places, you will either love the new place...or realize which other place you like better

I would suggest that you should keep looking. The two places you mentioned have very different decor-What is you style? There are so many nice places you should pick the one that best suites you taste and budget. That being said I LOVE WM! I cannot wait to have my wedding there. I love the outdoor space and the over all feel of the place.
