Just need to vent...kinda long

So all plans have been going smoothly and I was waiting for the ball to drop. Well it has....

Let's see...Over the weekend my florist burnt down to the ground (you may have seen it in Newsday). i finally got in touch with him tonight and he said he is still doing the wedding but the cp's haven't been finalized and he is so crazy trying to get his business back together, God knows what they'll look like cause I don't think I'll get to see a sample.

My bm had a baby last month and put on much more weight than expected and can't fit into her dress 5 weeks before the wedding so now we are frantically trying to find someplace to rush order a dress in 2 weeks! GOOD FREAKIN LUCK!

Today was my RSVP deadline and we are missing 36! Thats 72 people! W.T.F?!?!

The best man has done NOTHING to plan the bachelor party so now I am planning it...how did that f*&%cking happen?

NOONE booked their rooms at the hotel for the afterparty under my room block bc apparently they are having an internet special so the rooms are $20 cheaper online than my block (found out today and the deadline is next Wednesday). So now we have to pay for the shuttles bc many many ppl are taking the shuttles TO AND FROM the RH.

UGHHHH this week needs to end!!!!!

I pretty much had to coerce my fiance's good friend to plan the bach party because the best man, my fiance's brother and only groomsman, didn't do squat. I feel your pain

I am sooo sorry about the flower situation. Dont worry things will work out bc he is a professional and will make sure that you get what you want.

booo!!!! try not to stress too much. about the dress...call bridal salons in the area and see if anyone can sell you a sample (they might have a bigger size). did u try netbride or rk bridal?

if not...go to davids or macys or lord & taylor and see if u can just buy something off the rack that is in the same material/color.

and lastly...if u cant get a new dress...maybe a seamstress can let out the old dress or add fabric etc. but dont worry...u still have time for them to rush ship it. if u order it this week...u have 4 weeks....and then time for alterations.

as far as the bach...guys are dumb. my fh decided what he wanted to do and took it upon himself cuz his brother (best man) is totally clueless and then he just had another gm help him a bit...like sending out the evite and info. it was fine though. that way he got to do exactly what he wanted.

dont worry about finalizing your centerpieces, you still have time. I didnt do mine until the week off.

Your BM may still lose alot of baby weight - so who knows..

As for the hotel, I would call and speak to who ever you blocked the rooms with and tell them that their rate should've been cheaper since you did block and reserve rooms. Why its cheaper on the internet?? Not cool. Your guests are still booking their hotel and you are giving them business regardless of how they booked so they should most def be providing your shuttle service for free.

They cant let out the dress? My sis is 5 months preg, and was not 6 months ago when we ordered the dresses. Hers is very tight and wont zipper but they said not to worry that they can let it out and it will fit.

At my RSVP deadline i was missing probably the same about as you. This is normal cause people suck. I would start calling people ASAP. We have 2 weeks to go and I still havent heard from 3 people so we left message on their machines saying that if we dont hear from them by today we are taking it as a no.
