I hate dealing with the church...why is everything so damn difficult???

I asked andy today if he could call the church and i got a blank look for about 20 seconds followed by...'if you really want me to' really?!?!? 'well you've been dealing with it all along' pretty sure that doesnt mean that you can't make a call hahahaha.

BUT whatever, its about the church, they NEVER return phone calls and always conveniently the person i need to speak to about pre-cana is never in when i call.

i feel your pain! i played phone tag with the church for FOUR WEEKSSSSSSSSSSSSSS just to schedule the rehearsal

i finally got in touch with them after consistently calling and leaving messages but O M GGGGGGGG why do they have to make it so difficult!

We had a hard time getting in touch with the church too! I wanted to get married at the RH but Nick and the fils INSISTED we get married at their church sooo now it's his job to deal with them lol

DUDE it took me 4 months to get into pre-cana - i know how you feel!!!

Our church wont let me sked the rehearsal, its 'too early' W T F?!?!?!?!

It was a bit frustrating in the beginning but now they are better at returning calls...

Do you need to sign up via them? We signed up on the pre-cana website and just told our priest - hey we signed up.

And I KNOW that they've called other people back, i'm just so frustrated. i can't call them everyday and i shouldnt have to.

why do you have to call your church to schedule your pre-cana?
you should just be able to go onto the pre-cana website and do it there. your church does't care, they just want to see the certificate of completion.

the church was THE MOST frustrating aspect of getting married hands down.

I'm a regular active attender, you think that makes it easier to get an answer??....NOOOOO!!

Oh they are annoying! I am STILL waiting for a call back from the music coordinator (I've called twice over the last 4 weeks).

The coordinator (not music) is pretty cool, and the Deacon I have started contacting via email which has been good!

UGH, I totally agree...we've called 4 times in a month to my FH's church to get a freedom to marry letter and they've told us 4 different times that it was put in the mail...NOTHING YET! We can't meet with my priest until we have that letter...

This is even better...the priest at my church doesn't get along with the music coordinator so we have to have 2 separate meetings...UGH

I'm very fortunate that we didn't have to deal with the church. I always feared that the church would be difficult and stressful to deal with. We got married where we had the reception and had the judge I worked for do the ceremony, so it sounds like I saved myself a lot of grief. LOL!
