Just out of curiosity... but how many of your are planning from out of state?

I've noticed a few planning from places outside of LI, and I was just wondering where everyone was planning from?

I'm planning from Los Angeles. It makes things VERY difficult sometimes...

Planning from Indiana. Mom and MoH are on LI & that makes things easier for me

I am planning from Rhode Island..its not THAT far away...but its far enough...I will be home almost every weekend from bnow till the bigf day!

I'm planning from Florida. Its hard trying to visit family, friends, and visit every vendor you can on your trips.

Planning from Chicago. It is very difficult. My sister is the MOH, but I don't want to keep asking her to check out all these vendors. We're trying to book a videographer and limo. It's hard when you're not there to see the actual work.

I am planning from Florida too :)

Since I am a teacher, I was there for a month this summer getting some initial stuff done (hall, church, photo, DJ) and I just booked the video (sort of). I just have flowers and limo left, which I will hopefully secure if I come this November.

I think because of this site, it has been less stressful for me. I actually think I would be MORE stressed being home because I would feel like I would have to be doing SOMETHING all the time, like checking out other vendors, etc. And, since I am far away, I know I can't! ha. I know my FH is happy about that!

well I am not out of state but I am now off LI... I started my planning at home on LI but are now living upstate, near saratoga... I try to pack in as much as possible when I am home on the weekends...

planning from buffalo...it is so hard. My parents do a lot for me but they are not sure of what I really like so it makes it so hard. We are looking for a place right now so we keep flying in every other weekend. SO FRUSTRATING! We are hoping to book when we go home the weekend of Oct. 1.
