Have any of you girls had trouble getting the date that you wanted in 2012? I'm just curious how many brides there are out there hahaha.
I didn't have any problems.. A few places actually chuckled when I asked if may 12, 2012 was available but I also booked my RH in april so more than 2 years in advance.
I did not have a firm date when I was looking. To us it was more important to love the place and make it work. Although we had lots of options in April

Yeah I didn't realize my wedding is Saturday before mothers day... sorry mom but I wont be seeing you that mothers day lol

My wedding was origionally in 2011 so when I decided to push it back, we were almost 3 years way.. so nope no trouble lol
The only problem I had was gettin the price I wanted for that date. If I did the week before it would've been about $15 cheaper pp. May is prime season apparently. Only one place didn't have my date available so I didn't bother making the trip to see it.
We didn't have our heart set on our day, we were pretty open to a weekend in May and since our anniversary is the 10th of May, and my birthday is the 13th, and that weekend is mothers day, we figured it was something we'd always remember. Every place we looked at had it open, but we also were doing a day wedding, I dunno how that would affect it.
We want either the first or second sat in oct....of 2013, so far people havent laughed in my face for lookin so early
